NEGOTIATIONS WITH ITALIAN BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVES

Tashkent hosted negotiations with participation of business representatives of Uzbekistan and Italy.

At the event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the issue of expanding cooperation in trade, economic, investment, transport sectors, as well as in the field of communications and information technologies was discussed.

There are about 30 companies with Italian capital in Uzbekistan. Representatives of five Italian companies and the Chamber of Commerce “Italy – Uzbekistan” are accredited.

At the event, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A. Ikramov emphasized the need for expanding cooperation with Italy’s Lombardy region with developed agricultural sectors.

President of Italy – Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, Luigi Iperti, noted the growing interest of Italian businessmen in investing in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, representatives of about 10 Italian companies, such as Cannon Eurasia, SI.SE, Gruppo Argiro, Asko Filters, Vesuvius, presented their products and services.
