Recently, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the city of Jeddah as part of a state visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the meetings of the heads of both countries, issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial ties in the political, trade, economic, tourism, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. One of the important steps in this direction was the introduction of a visa-free regime, for a period of 30 days, entry into Uzbekistan for citizens of Saudi Arabia.
