Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN awarded the highest diplomatic rank

By the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN, has been awarded the highest diplomatic rank – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Bakhtiyor Ibragimov was born in Tashkent, he is 54. Since 1992, he held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including in the embassies of Uzbekistan in the United States and South Korea.

In May 2017, he was appointed Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN (New York).
