On November 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Uzbekistan Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, which is being held at the National Exhibition Complex "Uzexpocentre".
The event, organized in accordance with the Presidential Decree of May 1, 2019 "On measures to further develop industrial cooperation and expand production of high-demand products", started on November 18. About 10,000 enterprises, companies and firms, small businesses and private entrepreneurship are participating in the exhibition with more than 10,000 types of goods.
Participants will get acquainted with the information on export and import-substituting products of industrial enterprises, their quality and technical characteristics, wholesale and retail prices, and the available capacities of enterprises. This is an important factor in the study of products that are in great demand in the domestic and foreign markets, finding partners in their production and purchase, and broad involvement of small businesses in industrial activities.
The President got acquainted with the products presented at the fair. They were interested in the level of localization. He emphasized the need to expand localization, develop the import of spare parts, and increase the quality of the customer.

Through this portal, manufacturers can find buyers for their products and sign contracts for their delivery. The portal is connected to the database of statistics, customs, tax and certification agencies.
Contracts between industrial enterprises and customers are made online. Presentations on sectors, regions, small businesses and private entrepreneurship on production capacity, demand and cooperation are held at the International Trade Center.
