President of Turkey to visit Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on March 29-30.

The main event of the program of the distinguished guest’s stay is participation in the second meeting of Uzbekistan – Turkey Council for Strategic Cooperation of the highest level.

The agenda of the talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey includes issues of further developing and strengthening friendship and strategic partnership, expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

Issues of promoting cooperation projects in trade, investment, innovation, industry, logistics, tourism and other sectors of the economy, as well as the continuation of the active implementation of the cultural-humanitarian exchange program will be discussed.

Views will be exchanged on the current aspects of international and regional policy.

Following the summit, it is planned to adopt a joint statement and several bilateral documents.
