President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Turkey at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev was met by members of the Turkish government, chiefs of Ankara province and city, as well as other officials at Ankara Esenboğa Airport.
Today, the leaders of the two countries will chair the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council of the highest level. Issues of enhancing Uzbekistan – Turkey multifaceted cooperation, primarily in political, trade-economic, investment, financial, transport-communication, educational, cultural-humanitarian spheres will be discussed during the negotiations.
