On September 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board Andrey Kostin, who is visiting Uzbekistan within the framework of Tashkent Economic Forum.
The development of mutually beneficial investment and financial cooperation between domestic enterprises and one of the largest banking institutions of Russia was discussed at the meeting.
The signing of the first Agreement on the allocation of a credit line for the projects of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant in the amount of $1 billion was noted with satisfaction.
The possibilities of enhancing partnership in the implementation and financing of industrialization and infrastructure modernization projects were emphasized.
An agreement was reached on the preparation of a joint roadmap to promote practical cooperation.
