President of Uzbekistan signed the decree to further support country's export activities

On May 7, 2020 President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree “On measures to further support to export activities”.

According to the document, businesses delivering export products by railroad and car will receive up to 50 percent subsidies for compensation.
The decree also adopts the list of products applicable for partial reimbursement for transportation by road, railway and air.
Eggs, poultry and its products, fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, medication, household appliances, sewing and knitwear, shoes and much more are featured in the list.
Businesses won’t be verified for debts for all types of obligatory payments and executive documents enforced toward individuals and legal entities during customs clearance of goods until January 1, 2021, while crossing the border of Uzbekistan on exporting purposes.
Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan will provide compensation for reimbursement of the insurance premium when exporters use insurance services as bail.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan was instructed to allocate, based on reasonable estimates, the funds necessary for the expenses of the Agency for the Export Promotion Agency from the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020; starting from 2021 to consider funds on annual basis.
