In accordance with the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the eve of the 27th anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan, a group of compatriots who made a great contribution to the development of the country and achieved high results in various spheres was awarded orders, medals and honorary titles.
The awarding ceremony took place on August 31 at “Uzbekiston” International Forums Palace, the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the audience on Independence Day, warmly welcomed the awarded.
– Our country has entered a new stage, has reached a new level of its development. We are building our future with our own hands, on our own, based on the Action Strategy, approved by our people. We see the main task of our policy to achieve people’s satisfaction with life. Speaking of “growth”, “development”, we do not mean only figures, quantitative indicators, but attach priority to the extent to which reforms are reflected in a daily life, prosperity and welfare of the population, – the President said.
Today, big changes are taking place in all spheres of the country’s life. Large-scale reforms are underway on increasing the country’s economic strength, integrated development of the regions, improving villages and makhallas, raising the level and quality of people’s life.
Merits of people who make a worthy contribution to this affair, set an example by their selfless labor, devotional service to the Motherland, are valued. Due to various dates and professional holidays, dozens of distinguished citizens are awarded high state awards. Over the past period of this year, 320 compatriots received honorary titles, orders and medals. Today, 321 more people joined their ranks.
The President of Uzbekistan solemnly presented the state awards.
– I know many of you. I appreciate you as respected people serving for all as an example of selfless service, initiative and full dedication. I wish you one thing: never tire of achieving such high success and victories so that we will not tire of handing you the high awards of our state, – said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
