President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attends the 34th session of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan

In his opening speech, the Head of the state noted that one of the main goals is to ensure the implementation of fundamental reforms carried out based on the noble principle “For the sake of human dignity” in every city and district, village and family of Karakalpakstan.

“As President, I visited this blessed land most often, compared to other regions: nine times in six years”, says President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. - I talked with elders, businessmen and youth. During this period, 31 decrees and resolutions on the integrated development of Karakalpakstan were adopted. The number of entrepreneurs in the region has doubled, and almost 4.5 thousand investment projects have been launched. Only as part of the trip in February 2022, 1.5 trillion UZS were allocated for the comprehensive development of the region.

The provision of drinking water in Karakalpakstan has increased from 40 to 68 percent, enrollment in pre-school education from 32 to 76 percent, and per capita income has doubled.
