President signs a Decree on the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy for 2022-2026

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Decree “On the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy for 2022-2026”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

It is noted that over 16.7 thousand proposals were received on the draft decree. The document has undergone about 100 conceptual and more than 200 clarifying editorial changes and additions.

As part of the seven priority areas for the development of Uzbekistan for the next 5 years, the document provides for 398 measures aimed at achieving 100 goals and to be implemented in 2022.

In 2022, 55 trillion UZS and $11.7 billion will be allocated to finance the planned measures.
