Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva, who is on a working visit to St. Petersburg, held a meeting with the chairperson of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the information service of the upper house of Parliament, During the conversation, it was noted that friendly and trusting relations between the leaders of the two countries provide a solid foundation for cooperation and development.
The meeting focused on enhancing the role of parliaments in ensuring the implementation of high-level bilateral agreements.
The parties agreed to continue strengthening relations based on a new road map for 2024-2025, signed in June, aimed at elevating parliamentary cooperation to a higher level.
