The session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will take place in Samarkand, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The event to be held on 27-28 October, will be attended by heads and members of parliamentary delegations of the CIS countries, representatives of international organizations, scientists, and experts.
On October 27, meetings of the permanent commissions of the Assembly will be held on culture, information, tourism and sports, agrarian policy, natural resources and ecology, political issues and international cooperation.
On the same day, young parliamentarians from the CIS countries will gather at the Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly meeting of the CIS member states.
A meeting of the governing body of the Assembly, the Council of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, will be held on October 27. The heads of parliamentary delegations will discuss the current issues of cooperation, summarize the results of the events held in 2022, and hear information about monitoring election campaigns in the CIS.
The 54th plenary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states will take place on October 28.
On October 25, a meeting of the Expert Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the member states of the CIS and the Regional Commonwealth in communications will be organized.
