Saudi Arabian delegation visits Technopark in Tashkent

On January 25, the Saudi Arabian delegation led by the Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih visited Technopark, in Tashkent’s Yashnabad district, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Members of the delegation got acquainted in detail with the existing production facilities, the range of manufactured products, as well as projects that are planned to be implemented this year.

Technopark has already 6 factories for the production of gas meters, refrigerators, industrial air conditioners and cooling systems, water pumps, molds and dies, elevators and escalators.

By the end of 2021, it is planned to launch 11 more large investment projects aimed at organizing the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products. It is also planned to employ about 12 thousand people.

By merging 16 production facilities, as well as a logistics center, the Technopark will become the most advanced and promising complex in the Central Asia region for the production of a wide range of industrial, technical, electronic, construction, and household products, focused on the domestic and export markets.
