President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the festive event and congratulated teachers on holiday.
It was noted that in the IX-XII centuries – the torch of the first, in the XV century – the second renaissance was lit in Uzbekistan.
Abdulla Avloni, Mahmudkhoja Behbudi and Munavvarqori Abdurashidkhonov were posthumously awarded Buyuk Khizmatlari Uchun order according to Presidential Decree on awarding a group of compatriots on the occasion of Teachers and Mentors Day for their selflessness in ensuring independence of the Motherland, people’s freedom, prosperous and happy life for future generations.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the creation of the foundation in Uzbekistan for a new renaissance, the third renaissance, is the main goal.
“We will not achieve our goals if we do not create conditions for gifted youth”, – said the Head of the state. – The diploma will be valid only if you have deep knowledge. To do this, children need to be given a qualitative education at school. The threshold of a new Uzbekistan begins with school.
