SCO CNC meeting kicks off in Fergana

The meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO CNC) is taking place in Fergana under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the opening ceremony of the event was attended by Deputy Hokim of the region Khurshidjon Akhmedov.

Representatives of the SCO member states are exchanging views on preparations for future meetings of the Council of Heads of State and other statutory bodies of the organization.

The national coordinators began their work by approving the agenda of the event. At the meeting, it is planned to consider documents that are expected to be signed at the SCO Summit in Samarkand.

It is also planned to familiarize the national coordinators with the achievements of the region in information technology and the rich tourism potential of the region.

The SCO CNC meeting will run until April 28th.
