Shanghai Cooperation Organization Knowledge Hall was opened at the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.
The event was attended by representatives of China’s SCO Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, journalists and general public.
The importance of people’s diplomacy in interaction with civil society and audiences of foreign countries was noted.
SCO Knowledge Hall contains more than three hundred books on various subjects in Uzbek, Chinese, Russian and other languages.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Alisher Navoi National Library of Uzbekistan and SCO Center for People’s Diplomacy.
