Beijing hosted a press conference with SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov, who is completing his mission, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Mr. Vladimir Norov, who for the first time in history represented Uzbekistan as the head of the largest regional organization, summed up the results of the 3-year activity of the SCO Secretariat and informed about the results achieved.
SCO Secretary-General noted that despite the fact that the organization unites 21 states that differ in their potential in the political, military, and economic spheres, in the entire history of the SCO, there have been no cases of imposing a policy by any of these states or a group of states.
One of the current topics was also the Olympic Games in Beijing. Speaking about the organization of the Olympic Games in Beijing, the Secretary-General said that the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing are bright and festive international sporting events that athletes from all over the world are eagerly awaiting.
