Seoul hosts the Central Asia – Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov attended the 17th Central Asia – Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum, in Seoul.

“Central Asia today is one of the fastest developing regions in the world. We had a comprehensive exchange of ideas aimed at common prosperity”, Mr. Bakhtiyor Saidov noted.

Uzbek FM thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Cho Tae-yul and his team for their hospitality. The parties discussed new initiatives and cooperation areas in combating environmental challenges, ensuring reliable supply chains, processing critical minerals, digitalization, and tourism development.

Bakhtiyor Saidov stressed that Central Asian countries have huge potential and real possibilities for implementing joint projects, which opens up new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation.
