On March 21, Tashkent hosted Navruz celebrations in Humo Arena Complex.
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the event and congratulated people on the holiday.
The awakening and renewal of nature taking place in the days of Navruz can be called a reflection of the transformations in Uzbekistan. Over the past five years, according to the Action Strategy, major reforms have taken place in all areas, the appearance of the regions has changed.
The New Uzbekistan Development Strategy and the Year of Ensuring Human Interests and Mahalla Development State Program have been adopted to continue this work.

A vivid confirmation of this can be seen today on the example of every family, mahalla, every village and city. Hundreds of modern enterprises, roads and communication networks, comfortable housing, kindergartens, schools and universities, healthcare, culture and sports institutions are being built in the country. Residential areas and gardens, culture and recreation parks are being created in all regions, to which we give the name “New Uzbekistan”.
Along with the programs “Landscaped Mahalla” and “Landscaped Village”, a nationwide project “Green Space” is being implemented throughout the country. On these beautiful days, the people of Uzbekistan get strength, energy and inspiration from the noble traditions of Navruz, hold hashars, plant trees and flowers. We can say that Uzbekistan is imbued with the spirit of creation and celebration.
The President in his congratulatory message dwelt on the essence and significance of Navruz, the values of peace and tranquility reigning in the country.
“Navruz teaches us to always cherish our native land, cherish every sprout, feeling like a part of nature, calls for mercy, humanism and generosity. During this wonderful time, we are especially deeply aware of the priceless wealth of peace and tranquility, their great importance. We understand even more our responsibility for ensuring the prosperous life of the people in today’s turbulent and anxious time, for the future of children and grandchildren, clear sky over our Homeland”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
