On May 17, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Head of the state sincerely congratulated President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, wishing him good health, prosperity and success.
The great contribution of the President of Kazakhstan to the strengthening of centuries-old friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries was noted.
It was emphasized that regular and trustful contacts at the highest level contribute to maintaining the high dynamics of multifaceted Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan relations.
Current issues of bilateral and regional agenda were discussed during the conversation. They expressed confidence that the implementation of the previously reached agreements will serve to further enhance collaboration in all priority areas.
