President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.
As the press service of the President of Uzbekistan informs, the parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, exchanged views on the unfolding situation in the region, and considered the schedule of forthcoming summit meetings.
The two leaders expressed shared commitment to consolidating the Uzbek-Tajik relations of strategic partnership and comprehensive cooperation, as well as to securing stability and sustainable development in Central Asia.
