President has become acquainted with products manufactured by LLC Metal Processing in Bektemir district.
The project, worth almost 34 billion UZS, is important in localization and import substitution of metal products.
Textile manufacturing technologies tend to change every five years. In addition, equipment wears out or becomes obsolete. A long time ago, even simple parts were imported from abroad.
LLC Metal Processing produces casings and spare parts for machine tools for textile companies. Cooperation has been established with 12 large textile complexes of Uzbekistan.
“For many years others have benefited from our hard-earned cotton. Recently, the level of its processing in our country has increased significantly. Textile clusters have appeared. They are based on cotton processing. For this we need modern equipment and service”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The company employs 85 specialists. International metalworking standards have been introduced here in cooperation with the Swiss company SkillSonics International AG.
“Engineers and constructors are the “heart” of such enterprises. Unfortunately, many of our factories do not have such a “heart”. We must find and support smart specialists who will make a great contribution to localization”, the President emphasized.
The need for opening departments of Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry at the enterprise, increasing the practical component in personnel training was noted. Instructions were given on expanding the portfolio of orders based on cooperation, increasing the profitability of the enterprise.
