SHAVKAT MIRZIYOYEV: IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS UZBEKISTAN'S GDP HAS TO GROW TO 100 BILLION DOLLARS

TASHKENT, January 21. /“Dunyo” IA/. The President of Uzbekistan is addressing at a joint meeting of Legislative Chamber and the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbeksitan, informs the correspondent of “Dunyo” IA.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev listed energy sector, geology and transportation among the most important to develop. To improve these areas, however, there is a need to tackle corruption and solve the problem of human capacity in the country.

“Although GDP of Uzbekistan has grown from 44 billion to 58 billion dollards, we need to elevate this number to 100 billion,” stated the President.

Hence, the President of Uzbekistan encouraged the future members of administration to display responsibility in meeting this target.
