Sherzod Asadov: We ask you not to succumb to provocations

The Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov denies rumors that a rocket had been fired from Afghanistan into Termez, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

“Reports by some Telegram channels that Uzbek troops have been fired upon by missiles from Afghanistan near the city of Termez are completely untrue.

According to the Uzbek Defense Ministry and the Border Troops, there is no military activity on the Uzbek-Afghan border and the situation is stable. We ask you not to succumb to provocations,” Sherzod Asadov wrote on his official channel.
