Tashkent becomes the leader in the number of private businesses in 2020

The number of active business entities (excluding farms and dehkan farms) in Uzbekistan amounted to 414,186, of which 90,721 are private enterprises (21.9 percent), reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the State Statistics Committee, high indicators of the number of private businesses were noted in the city of Tashkent (12 855), Fergana (11 323), Kashkadarya (9 315), Namangan (7 197), Surkhandarya (7 059) regions.

Enterprises in the context of types of economic operate in trade (34 364), industry (16 381), accommodation and food services (7 982), construction (7 825), and 6 686 in agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
