Tashkent Book Fest 2019 invites book lovers

Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with a number of organizations organizes Tashkent Book Fest 2019 First International Book Fair on October 2-4. It will become a major project, uniting representatives of education, publishing work, literature, studying youth, parents around one goal.

This book fair is particularly important because of its scale and goals. Within the framework of the event, it is planned to create special stands on publishing, promoting reading books, on the literary heritage, organizing exhibitions that arouse interest in reading among children, presentations, meetings, and master classes.

It is expected that the event will be attended by publishers and book trade organizations from the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, representatives of foreign companies and embassies in Uzbekistan. Book lovers can become familiar with the activities of leading publishing houses, structures related to the book trade, private publishing and printing houses, and their book products.

It is planned to sign cooperation agreements between domestic and foreign publishers. Winners will be identified in different categories.
