The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia has organized a videoconference between the leadership of Tashkent IT Park and Malaysian Multimedia University (MMU), reports IA “Dunyo” correspondent.
The purpose of this event was to implement the tasks set during the recent visit of the head of our state to IT Park of software products and information technologies in Tashkent.
At the meeting, the Uzbek side proposed to consider the possibility of introducing joint educational programs with a Malaysian university to train highly qualified specialists in information and communication technologies within the framework of the first Online University in Uzbekistan being created based on the IT Park.
In turn, representatives of the Multimedia University expressed interest in organizing a distance educational process, which provides for online theoretical classes by Malaysian specialists, and practical classes in training centers of the IT Park.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on signing a Cooperation Agreement between IT Park and MMU on the implementation of joint educational projects in Uzbekistan.
