Tashkent to host a meeting of the Women Leader's Dialogue in Central Asia

Kyrgyzstan delegation led by Acting Deputy Torag of the Jogorku Kenesh Aida Kasymalieva will take part in the annual meeting of the Women Leader’s Dialogue in Central Asia, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Kabar National News Agency, the results of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the Dialogue will be summed up, the role of regional associations of women leaders in expanding women’s participation and leadership will be discussed, prospects for the development of the Dialogue and the organization of its activities in 2022 will be considered.

The upcoming meeting will also determine the State that will chair the Women Leader’s Dialogue in Central Asia in 2022.

The new interaction platform was created in December 2020 at the initiative of the Uzbek side and with the support of the UN Development Programme and the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia. Uzbekistan was the first chair of the format in 2021.
