The Adviser to the President of Afghanistan confirmed his readiness to ensure the full safety of Uzbekistan specialists involved in the implementation of joint projects

On March 18, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held talks with the National Security Advisor to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hamdullah Mohib, in Kabul, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the security, activation of collaboration in the implementation of infrastructure projects in Afghanistan with the participation of Uzbekistan.

The Afghan side highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s efforts to resolve the Afghan crisis peacefully.

Hamdullah Mohib expressed the readiness of the Afghan side to ensure the full safety of Uzbekistan specialists involved in the implementation of such joint projects as the construction of Surkhan – Puli-Khumri power line and Mazar-i – Sharif – Kabul-Peshawar railway line.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
