The Austrian Foreign Minister arrived in Uzbekistan for the first time since 2000

Yesterday, Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Michael Linhart arrived in Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Vienna, during the visit, Mr. Michael Linhart will hold official talks in Tashkent in the ministries of investments and foreign trade, and foreign affairs.

The parties will consider the whole range of multifaceted cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Tashkent will host Uzbekistan – Austrian business forum within the framework of the visit of Minister Michael Linhart. More than 200 representatives of ministries, agencies and business structures of the two countries are expected to attend the event.

It should be noted that this visit is the first visit of the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry to Uzbekistan over the past 20 years.
