The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announces a competition for the development of currency symbol

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced a competition for the development of the “Soʻm Symbol”, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Central Bank, the competition has been announced to increase the international prestige of the national currency of Uzbekistan – the soʻm in the financial markets and ensure its recognition among the general public.

As part of the competition, the best graphic works will be determined, symbolizing the identity, cultural values and distinctive features of the national currency on the world stage. The competition is open to all citizens of Uzbekistan who wish to participate.

To participate, you must send an application, an image and a concept of your idea to tanlov@cbu.uz by March 31, 2022.

The winner will receive a cash prize from the Central Bank.
