The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Deputy Prime Minister took part in The 10th meeting of Uzbekistan – Korea Intergovernmental Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation

On November 6, The 10th meeting of Uzbekistan – Korea Intergovernmental Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Sardor Umurzakov, and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, Sung Yun-mo.

At the event, views were exchanged on key issues on the agenda, a firm commitment was expressed of bоth sides to expanding multifaceted interaction in agriculture, energy, healthcare, information and communication technologies, pharmaceuticals, light industry, as well as the banking and financial sector.

Prospects for enhancing successful cooperation in the investment sphere were discussed. It was noted that a package of large projects is currently being implemented in petrochemistry, mining metallurgy, energy, textile industry, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, production of building materials and processing of fruit and vegetable products.
