President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the construction of Tashkent’s underground Sergeli highway.
The road, built in accordance with the resolution of the head of our state on November 29, 2016, is another important transport network of the capital. The total cost of the project is $ 82.6 million, with the construction of 7 kilometers of railways and 6 stations. Sergeli route will be connected to the Almazar station of Chilanzar line.
Thus, Sergeli district, which has a large population, connects with the city center and other districts through another vehicle. In particular, the subway passenger from Sergelli can reach the Great Silk Road without exchanging it.
The head of state visited the Almazar station and reviewed the progress of construction. He noted that the metro route is of great importance in terms of the development of Sergeli district and the construction of new apartment buildings. He was interested in the conditions for the passengers to get to the subway and to move to the subway.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Yashnabad district and got acquainted with the construction of the underground ring subway.

Currently, the stations Dostlik-2 and Ahangaran have been completed.

The stalls are equipped with modern technologies for passenger comfort, turnstiles and electronic escalators.
At the other end of the road to the sheep market, the foundations were laid and the columns were completed. Work on the installation of buses and stops is underway.
In the second phase of the project, the Almazar station will be linked to the Kuylyuk market. The third section will be built "Beruni", then the section "Bodomzor". At the last stage, the ring subway line will again be connected to Dostlik station.
