The Head of State paid tribute to the memory of the First President

Yesterday, the President of Uzbekistan visited the grave of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, in Samarkand, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, surahs from the Holy Quran were recited in honor of the deceased.

To remember the good deeds of the deceased, to honor their memory highly are sacred values inherent in our people. The best human qualities of Islam Karimov were noted during the conversation with religious leaders.

“Islam-aka was a modest man. And this mausoleum is a match for him. We put our heart and soul into this place. We continue the work started by the First President. May the Almighty rest his soul”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

Dua for peace and well-being in the country, health for our people was recited.
