Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, John MacGregor, on the occasion of the completion of his mission to Uzbekistan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Uzbekistan MFA, the parties exchanged views on the state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE.
The sides noted with satisfaction the results of the visit of the Chairperson-in-Office for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Sweden’s Foreign Minister, Ann Christin Linde.
Joint work to counter coronavirus infection and minimize its consequences was stated.
The importance of continuing close cooperation on the implementation of various OSCE projects in Uzbekistan for 2021-2022 included in the roadmap was noted.
Following the meeting, the Minister expressed gratitude to the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan for the fruitful work and significant contribution to strengthening practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the organization.
Ambassador John MacGregor sincerely thanked for the comprehensive assistance provided in his activities as the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan.
