The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Andrey Rudenko, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current issues of Uzbekistan – Russia agenda, the results of the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as the schedule of the upcoming events. An agreement was reached to continue active preparations for the planned visit to Russia at the highest level.

Views were exchanged on the interaction of the parties within the framework of international and regional organizations.

The current situation in the region and the prospects for its further development, including in the light of recent events in Afghanistan, were considered.
