The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Saudi Arabia

Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yousef Al Otaiba, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, accepting copies of credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the start of his activities in Uzbekistan and wished him success in his responsible post.

The parties expressed mutual readiness to continue the regular dialogue and increase practical cooperation, including through political consultations between foreign ministries and meetings of intergovernmental commissions on trade, economy, science and technology, culture, sports and youth.

Special attention was paid to the issues of joint implementation of investment projects in energy, agriculture and tourism.

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered during the talks.
