Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Kim Hee-sang, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, the Ambassador noted that the Republic of Korea considers Uzbekistan a key partner in the region and is ready to take all measures to further intensify interstate ties. Official Seoul welcomes and supports the course of large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and intends to provide all possible assistance in their implementation.
The parties exchanged views on the schedule of planned events, including the next round of inter-MFA consultations in the city of Tashkent.
Proposals for building up ties within the framework of the Cooperation Forum “Central Asia – the Republic of Korea” were considered.
