On August 2, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov told about some details of the presentation of projects for the construction of several facilities in Tashkent, Surkhandarya and Namangan regions held on July 26.
“We have previously reported on plans to build a library in Alisher Navoi National Park of Uzbekistan”, the Press Secretary said. “During the first acquaintance, the Head of the state instructed to prepare an architectural project of the library building in several versions”.
According to the Press Secretary, 3 different versions of the building were considered during the presentation. The first is in the national style, the second is in the style of modern urban planning, and the third is in the high-tech style.
“The President approved the project inspired by the architecture of historical monuments of Uzbekistan, gave recommendations on creating broad conditions for readers, holding cultural events”, the Press Secretary added.
He also informed about the implementation of instructions of the Head of the state on the transfer of medical centers of Hematology and Oncology to new buildings.
“The Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Hematology and the Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Clinical Immunology are moving to two neighboring buildings on Arnasay Street in Chilanzar district”, Sherzod Asadov noted. – This month, the centers will begin work in new buildings. A new building for the Republican Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology will be built next to the polyclinic of Tashkent Medical Academy. It is planned that the building will be put into operation in 2023”.
