In the Kokand Museum of Great Thinkers, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has met with public figures of the Ferghana region, representatives of the senior generation and intelligentsia. The dialogue included topics of ongoing changes in the fields of culture and enlightenment, youth upbringing.

In Uzbekistan, significant emphasis is placed on the veneration and promotion of national values, the study of the legacy of great ancestors. International festivals of the arts of bakhshi and makom have been held in our country. The Imam Bukhari and Imam Termizi centers, Mirzo Ulugbek and Muhammad Khorezmi schools of gifted children, creative schools named after writers have been established across the nation. Presidential schools as well as new higher education institutions are to create even greater opportunities for young people.

“Time flies by at a great speed. We are in search in every sphere, we are in constant movement. There are changes, but we are barely happy with them to the fullest,” the President suggested.

Participants noted with satisfaction that in Kokand, like throughout the Ferghana region, extensive creative and construction works are underway today, and thanks to the International Festival of Folk Applied Arts, the city has become even more attractive, while it has welcomed guests from all over the world.

The Museum of Great Thinkers was also created at the initiative of the head of our state. Its visitors are able to get information about the life and work of writers and scientists who lived in Kokand. And the exposition of antiques and handicrafts will tell about the lifestyle of those times.
