The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan receives the delegation of the People's Republic of China

On April 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the People’s Republic of China led by a member of the State Council, Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong, who arrived in Uzbekistan in furtherance of the agreements of the January summit.

The distinguished guest expressed deep gratitude to the Leader of Uzbekistan for the reception provided and conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.

At the meeting, issues of further enhancing practical cooperation and coordinating joint efforts in the fight against modern challenges and security threats were discussed.

The President of Uzbekistan noted with particular satisfaction the current high level of friendship and all-weather strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China. The potential and opportunities for fruitful interdepartmental interaction in law enforcement were emphasized.

The exchange of experience and holding joint events in the main areas of public security, the introduction of modern information technologies and innovative methods of work, the fight against cybercrime, the training of qualified specialists, and others were named priority areas.

Views were exchanged on issues of regional interaction.
