The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to attend the CIS Summit

At the invitation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to the city of Bishkek on October 13 to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Further enhancing multilateral cooperation within the CIS will be considered during the summit, including implementing joint programs and projects in trade, investment, industrial cooperation, innovation, digitalization, transport, education, culture, and other areas.

The heads of state will also exchange views on issues on the international agenda.

Following the meeting, it is planned to adopt several agreements and decisions on priority areas of interaction within the Commonwealth.
