The President of Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of Hungary advocated the formation of a new portfolio of economic projects

On November 6, as part of the program of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in the city of Bishkek, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán in the residence allocated for him.

The parties discussed current issues of further development of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary.

The practical results of interaction were noted with particular satisfaction. Trade turnover and the scale of industrial cooperation are growing. Work is underway to create an industrial park in Tashkent region. In October, the First Forum of Regions was held in the city of Kokand. This month, important joint cultural events will be held in the city of Budapest.

The leaders of the two countries reviewed the schedule of bilateral events. They especially noted the importance of forming a new portfolio of projects for trade, economic, and investment cooperation between leading companies.

Views were exchanged on current issues on the regional agenda.
