The President of Uzbekistan arrived in New York City, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of state, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the events of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
New York Mayor Eric Adams, Chairman of American – Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lamm, and other officials met the distinguished guest at the airport.
By the program of stay, on September 19, the President of Uzbekistan will make a report at the general debate of the plenary session of the United Nations General Assembly and present his vision on current issues of the regional and global agenda.
A summit of leaders of the Central Asian countries and the United States, several bilateral meetings with heads of foreign states, heads of authoritative international organizations, and leading American companies will take place on the sidelines of the leading global political event of the year.
