On November 7, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Current issues of further developing and deepening friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan were considered.
The President of Uzbekistan conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The fruitful results of high-level meetings and events during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan on 20-21 October this year were highly appreciated.
The importance of the implementation of the reached agreements, including through the continuation of active inter-parliamentary contacts and exchanges, was noted.
Issues on the agenda of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held at the end of this week in the city of Samarkand, were also considered.
