On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Director and Founder of the Lasselsberger Group, Josef Lasselsberger.
Established in 1957, the Lasselsberger Group is a leading European manufacturer of building materials, ceramics, and mineral products with an annual turnover of $20 billion.
At the meeting, issues of practical implementation of high-tech projects in the building materials industry were discussed.
Currently, projects are being implemented to produce dry mixes and microcalcite in Samarkand region, and marble processing in Kashkadarya region.
An agreement was reached to accelerate new projects for producing high-purity aluminum and meta-kaolin, porcelain stoneware, paints and varnishes, and fiber cement.
