The President of Uzbekistan discusses the development of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey

Yesterday, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Interior of Turkey Suleyman Soylu, who is in Uzbekistan on a working visit, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, issues of developing practical cooperation in law enforcement and public security in the context of the implementation of agreements at the highest level were considered.

Minister Suleyman Soylu conveyed the warm greetings and good wishes of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the President of Uzbekistan.

The readiness of the Turkish side to establish a systematic interdepartmental partnership to effectively coordinate efforts and counter modern challenges and threats to security was emphasized.

During the conversation, special attention was paid to the issues of continuing active contacts, exchanging information and studying best practices, conducting joint activities to combat organized crime, including in cyberspace, terrorism, religious extremism, drug trafficking and illegal migration.
