The President of Uzbekistan emphasizes the importance of increasing multifaceted cooperation with the UAE

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi.

Minister Al Gergawi conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan the greetings and best wishes of the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister of the country, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum and Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan.

During the conversation, current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed. The high dynamics of the development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE were noted with satisfaction. The trade turnover and the number of joint ventures and projects are growing at a steady pace.

Joint programs are being successfully implemented as part of the adopted action plan, including those aimed at increasing the efficiency of public administration, training management personnel, and developing digital government.

About 1 thousand workshops, forums, and training courses were held, during which up to 2 million Uzbekistan specialists improved their skills.

Mutual interest in further enhancing practical cooperation in the effective management, development of trade potential, modernization of urban infrastructure, high technology, artificial intelligence, and other areas was confirmed at the meeting.
