Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the Head of the state visited the mausoleum of Musa Erniyazov at the Shorsha Baba cemetery in the city of Nukus.
Surahs from the Quran were recited.
For many years Musa Erniyazov served as Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He was awarded the title of Hero of Uzbekistan.
By the order of the President of Uzbekistan, a mausoleum was erected in honor of the deceased, which became one of the landscaped places.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Bozatau district.
